NYSC Registration Guide for Married Women – If you follow the instructions given by NYSC, you will benefit a lot. One of such benefit is that you as a married woman can serve in the same state where your husband or family resides.

IMPORTANT: pregnant and nursing mothers are not allowed in the orientation camp, as prospective corps members in this category you should be aware that you will not be accommodated. So you will be sent home if you fall into this category.

Nysc job portal – The National Youth Service Corps has launched a job portal that would enhance job seeking opportunities for Corps Members and also make them available for prospective employers.

NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Sulaiman Kazaure, while speaking at the launch today in Lagos, urged Corps Members to make themselves available for job opportunities with the aid of the portal.

He added that the portal would serve as a pool for employers searching for suitable candidates and also provide a means of verification of credentials.

He, however, added that the Management of National Youth Service Corps had established Zonal integrated Skill Centres in six different locations across the country aimed at entrenching entrepreneurship among Corps Members.

In her keynote address, the Managing Director, Gr8jobs Limited, Mrs. Omomene Odike, emphasized the need for every job seeker to acquire relevant information to survive in the competitive job market.

She said there was the need to reduce unemployment in Nigeria while she urged Corps Members to upload their data to relevant portals.

NYSC Lagos State Coordinator, Prince Mohammed Momoh, said the NYSC Lagos initiative would reduce the stress of job search among Corps Members.

1. Click on the “Register” tab at the top of the screen. Or simply follow this link. http://candidate.nyscjobs.org/account/register

2. Fill in the details then go to your email to view the activation email. Follow the instruction in the mail.

3. Once your account has been activated, you will receive a second email showing you your login details. Kindly note these details and keep them safe as you would need them to apply for more vacancies on the e-Recruiter platform.

4. Login with the details sent to you and proceed to fill out the forms as described below.

5. When you login, a page is displayed and you are required to enter your personal details. At the completion of this page, click on the “Update” button at the bottom of the screen.

NB: Always click on the arrow in a dropdown box to get more options for that particular field.

6. Next, click on Additional Information. Fill in your details. Ensure that you upload your NYSC video CV URL.

NB: You can also use the buttons ‘Previous and ‘Next’ to navigate through the portal pages.

7. Click on the Passport tab. Upload a passport that meets up to the size indicated at the top.

8. Then, click on “Educational Qualification”. Click on “Add Qualification”. Proceed to fill the appropriate details.

NB: Nigerian Institutions are listed while foreign Institutions are to be typed in.

9. Next, click on the “Employment History” tab. Fill in your details and click the “Update” button.

10. Then click on the “Certifications” tab. Click the “Add certification” and proceed to fill in the appropriate details. Do not forget to “Update” the information.

11. Lastly, click on the “Documents” tab. On the Documents box, select the document to be uploaded. Select file and upload.

NB: Ensure the documents meet up to the requirements stated at the top of the screen.

12. Once all these are done, you have created a profile on NYSCJobs. You shall use this profile to apply for any vacancies available on the Portal. You can update your information at any time.

13. To apply for a vacancy, click on the “Vacancies” tab at the top of the screen.

14. On the list of vacancies, click on the “View/Apply” link besides the vacancy you wish to apply for.

15. A short description of the vacancy is displayed. Click on the “Apply Now” button.

16. After applying, a notification is displayed on the screen: “Application Complete! Thank you for applying for this vacancy. Upon review, only suitably qualified candidates would be contacted.” You will also receive an email confirmation in your email account.

17. You have successfully applied for a vacancy.

NYSC Batch B 2019 Orientation Course

NYSC Batch B 2019 Orientation Course – The NYSC Batch B 2019 Orientation Course is scheduled to commence in all the NYSC Orientation Camps, and Location/Addresses of Orientation Camps Nationwide are as follows:

  1. Commencement of NYSC Batch B 2019 Registration – Saturday, 1st June, 2019.
  2. Cut-Off date for NYSC Batch B 2019 Registration – 12 Midnight, Friday, 14th June, 2019.

A.) All prospective corps members slated for the 2019 Batch B Stream I Orientation Course are instructed to proceed to their respective Camps as declared on their Call-up Letters. Foreign-trained graduates are expected to arrive at the Camp with their travelling Passport for Identification as well as their Transcript for verification.

B.) In the case of any loss of Call-up Letter, the Corps member who collected the Call-up letter from his/her University is advised to obtain Police Report and Sworn Affidavit, after that, report to your Institution of graduation for more necessary actions. Those who initially printed their Call-up Letters on-line can now reprint the Call-up Letters as many times as they want in the case of loss.

Requirements for NYSC Batch B 2019 Registration

  • Original Call-up Letter or Call-up Letter printed online
  • School Identity Card, including traveling Passport for Foreign-trained graduates.
  • Statement of Result endorsed by authorized officer with authentic signature.
  • Prospective Corps members should go to Camp with Functional Account Number and Bank Verification Number (BVN) to facilitate online payment of entitlements.
  • Medical Doctors, Pharmacists, Physiotherapists and Optometrists are to produce evidence of Registration with their Professional Bodies.
  • In addition, each prospective corps member MUST present Certificate of Fitness from a Government or Military Hospital showing his/her health status before he/she will be registered and admitted for the orientation course.
